D&SL SIGN
(Item: CAT60/LOT93)
D&SL- sign made from wooden phone booth door that was located at Tunnel 10 in Eldorado Canyon. Removed by retired Rio Grande employee who cut it down to a manageable size this one measures 28 ¾” x 19 ½”. Old original silver paint that reads, D&SL over Telephone over 1937. The letters have actually raised above the wood due to the lead content of the original paint combined with the natural elements of wind & weather due to being exposed to the outdoors. Very readable and quite unique if you’re a D&SL fan this one is surely the only one known & sure to please. MINIMUM BID $200
