LOT 387 CINN, WASHINGTON & BALTMORE FANCY BACK LOCK

CW&BRR-fancy back cast heart shaped lock with chain and single ring unmarked key. Lock is manufactured by Dayton. This early & scarce lock is from the Cincinnati, Washington & Baltimore Railroad. Key cover is cast “To Get the Key Out Close the Lock” with ornate design on the back. “S” on shackle with four links of iron forged chain. Normal edge dings & dents but overall beautiful natural dark patina. A scarce lock in good working order and waiting for a new home.
