BEYER PEACOCK & CO LTD- 13 ½” brass oval builders plate reads, “7844 Beyer-Garratt Locomotive British Patent No. 647476-647480-647519-582396, South African Patent No. 2866/47 & 1479/45 Manchester 1958. Back of plate has hand written info; South African Rwy #4129. Nice plate in good condition.
