LOT 327 CONDUCTORS LANTERN

CONDUCTORS PRESENTATION LANTERN- Nickel plated brass frame with twist off top and bell. When top is removed, the front part of the cage “swings” away for globe removal. Unique and rare style frame. Frame is straight and clean with moderate plate wear, but no dents. Latch on the top has been replaced. Globe is in mint condition with a wheel cut wreath and the L.C. Hastings cut inside of the wreath. No manufacturer markings however underside of bell is patented April 11, 1871 and May 2, 1871, possibly Buffalo Steam Gauge? An early and scarce offering sure to please. MINIMUM BID $950
