DOLESE & SHEPARD CO.- Baldwin Locomotive Works Philadelphia 57386 November 1923 brass plate measures 9 ¼” diameter. This was a small building supply company that was eventually invested in by Henry Crown who controlled General Dynamics. He invested in the company by adding a fleet of barges, tow trucks & railroads. Known as a true entrepreneur Mr Crown had a reputation as an honest and respected business man in every endeavor. Another nice offering.
