LOT 129 DINING CAR CHIME
(Item: CAT64/LOT129)

DINING CAR CHIME- early 5 bell chime manufactured by J. C. Deagan, Chicago. Measures 10 ¼” square. This one has an applied tag on reverse listing the Original Deagan Patents with last date of Apr 29, 1919. Unfortunately it is missing the original mallet, but does have homemade one that works. Has attached chain to hang on a wall. Chimes are numbered 1 thru 5. The chimes nickel finish is showing some wear but this one sounds beautiful. An early offering we’ve had lots of dining car chimes but his one is certainly an early one.
