LOT 380 PS&PRR LANTERN
(Item: CAT64/LOT380)

PS&PRR- wheel cut on clear fixed globe bell bottom frame with chimney bale. Bottom underside tabs removes the bell which houses glass fuel font with whale oil burner. Frame is manufactured by New England Glass Co with patent date of October 1854. Tin is dark with old black paint and someone did scratch the name “FRED” on the dome. Still another early example of a rare and seldom found lantern.
