LOT 122 WALTHAM CLOCK

CLOCK-Here is a unique offering. Manufactured by the Waltham Watch Co this is an oversized pocket watch that is mounted in a brass case with mounting plate that swivels to adjust the angle of the clock. The lid has a large beveled glass crystal that unscrews to access the clock. The clock is an 8 day 15 jewel adjusted watch. It does appear to be in working order however I only wound it slightly and it appeared to work. Case measures 3 ¾” diameter and 2 ¼” deep. We are not sure what this is from. It did come out of very large collection that we have been handling for several years out of Durango. It has been suggested that the Galloping Geese had clocks in them? We are unable to confirm this but it is without question a unique item. MINIMUM BID $100
