LOT 32 NEW YORK CENTRAL BOWL

NEW YORK CENTRAL – 20TH Century Limited locomotive lithographed in bottom center of china cereal bowl. Has African American cook holding cereal bowl. These were an apparent Cream of Wheat give away. Bowl measures 6 ¼” with yellow base color. Manufactured by Sebring Pottery Co, Sebring Ohio. Bottom stamped, “Golden Maize”. Patent number would suggest circa late 1800’s early 1900’s. Overall very acceptable condition showing normal glaze crazing associated with early pottery but no chips or cracks. Great conversation piece.
