LOT 85 PHILADELPHIA & READING BUILDERS PLATE
(Item: CAT67/LOT85)

PHILADEPHIA & READING – Baldwin Locomotive Works Burnham Williams & Co plate #13098 dated December 1892 off engine #647 a 2-8-0 wheel arrangement and later renumbered #901in April 1900. This engine was rebuilt by the P&R in October 1904, again rebuilt in July 1922 into Class E4a 0-8-0 #1433 and finally scrapped in 1946. Large brass plate measures 11 ¾” in great original condition & again a hard early plate waiting for a new home.
