LOT 79 BURLINGTON BUILDERS PLATE
(Item: CAT67/LOT79)

BURLINGTON – brass plate reads, “20 R2 – 24 over BURLINGTON over 2 – 1902”. Plate measures 10” x 6”. This does not show any mounting holes so most likely it was never on a locomotive. Mr Averill probably came in possession while employed with the CB&Q. No doubt this is a one of kind. An early & very rare plate that should command great attention.
