LOT 100 D&RG MEARS JUNCTION SIGN

D&RG MEARS JUNCTION – original wooden station sign. This one of kind offering is from the Mears Junction station that was located on Marshall Pass eleven miles southwest of Salida. Sign measures 60” x 17” x 2”. Wood is understandably cracked and weathered but has been reinforced on the back with the addition of wooden braces. Wording is still very visible. If only these wonderful relics of bygone days could speak? So we have to leave it up to our imaginations and our continued love of this hobby.
