LOT 97 D&RG SHAWANO DEPOT SIGN

D&RG SHAWANO – black letters on large wooden depot sign. Shawano was one of the narrow gauge stops on the line that ran over Marshall Pass between Sargents & Mears Junction. Sign measures approximately 59” long and 17” wide. The sign has split down the center however cross beams have been added on the back side for support. The condition just confirms the years it was exposed to the elements. A great piece of narrow gauge history and without a doubt the only survivor. A chance to obtain a wonderful piece of early Colorado narrow gauge history.
