LOT 369 DULUTH WINNIPEG & PACIFIC LANTERN

DW&PRY – on dome of 1913 Reliable single wire guard frame with drop in pot. Comes with light blue cast extended base globe. The frame has a blotchy appearance with dark spots but surface is smooth. I was suspicious of the authenticity of the globe until I spoke with Steve Spalding and Jim Baird who both confirmed that this is in fact a good globe. Steve told me that this is referred to as lunar white by the old timers. The glass is very light weight but nice strong cast. This is the wrong frame for this style globe so take care when you close the lid. Remember any colored cast globes are pretty desirable so a chance to add a nice piece to your collection. MINIMUM BID $500
