Old Hickory Furniture Co. Chairs W/Woven Back

Old Hickory Furniture Co. chairs with woven hickory bark seat backs. These are from about 1950 and are branded on the bottom of the seat with the old Old Hickory Furniture Company, Martinsville, Indiana brand. They also have a decal that says American Provincial. Each chair stand 35 1/2 inches tall and 24 1/4 inches wide at the front of the arms. These are very comfortable chairs with carved seats and flat arm rests.
This picture shows a crack in the seat of one chair. The chair seems to be strong.
This picture is of the crack as seen from the back of the chair.
The finish on the legs is worn.
