Rare Gilhams Saddle This rare San Francisco saddle was Marketed by L. D. Stone. Many styles of Gilham saddles are pictured in the 1905 Main Winchester and Stone Saddlery catalog. Please look at all of the pictures. I have included some pictures from the catalog. The elaborate maker mark on this saddle in two places reads; Gilham's Saddle, Patented November 6, 1901, Patent broadly covering application of pinked edges to riding saddles. All rights reserved. A.
