Konishi Seiichito itled “Kobe Harbor.” Colorful and interesting “sosaku-hanga”(modern, creative print). Print is both self-carved and self-printed by aritst, bearing the publishing name of Sohankai. Print is signed lower left arera of image as “S. Ko.” Limited edition #56/200. Circa 1960. As is typical of this genre of Japanese woodblocks where a single artist does the design, then the block carving, and finally the actual printing, the results are often delightfully bold and very original. Bold, bright colors and in very good to excellent condition—does have small area of wrinkling at top edge of image. Image measures 9 x 12 Ѕ inches
