Kobayashi Kiyochika(1847-1915) Evocative Meiji-era woodblock print titled "honmachi Dori Yosame" (translates as"Night Snow at Honmachi Street")and margin dated as"Meiji 13"(or 1880). Printed from superbly and accurately re-cut blocks shortly after WWII. Circa 1950. A nicly illuminated nighttime scene for which Kiyochika is well known. The workmanship in printing is quite good. Nice gradation of color (bokashi) used throughout this print.8 1/8 x 12 3/4". Matted
