Born and raised in Lindsborg, Kansas, was a life- time resident worked and taught and was an associate of Birger Sandzen.She staerted her work as an artist when she took over her fathers studio after his death. She was a graduate of Bethany Collage and was active in many community affairs including holding the Art Chair on the Hyllingsfest Committee, Birger Sandzen referred to Mrs.Dahlqustas an artist of note in 1942 in a letter to Dr. Ernest F. Pihlblad, President of Bethany Collage, Lindsborg, KS.
