Della Jean Kennedy (Student of Birger Sandzen) "Cottonwood" Signed Woodblock! Artwork measures 6 inches by 10 inches. Wood Frame measures 12 inches by 14 inches. This wonderfully styled piece shows a huge cottonwood tree at a lakeside in the mountains, most probably Estes Park, Co. The artists monogram, "DJK" is in the lower right corner and there is a handwritten pencil signature, "DELLA JEAN KENNEDY" along the lower left border and the title "COTTONWOOD" along the lower right border. Della Kennedy is considered to be one of the finest students of noted Impressionist artist Birger Sandzen's at Bethany College.
