Manchester, New Hampshire Paintings, 1845

Pair of paintings, signed and dated," T.Pierce, 1845, Painted in Manchester".This wording was on the reverse before they were relined and there are photographs of such. The paintings are also signed on the top left rail of the fence. There is correspondance with the Manchester Museum in England which states that there was no Thomas Pierce in Manchester, England around that time. Approximate measurements are 25 1/2" x 30 1/2".
