Rare 18th century Black Basalt Punch Pot
(Item: JC-PUNCH)

A very large 18th century black basalt punch pot or hot water kettle. The spout is in the form of a bird's head; a widow knop graces the lid. The body is decorated with engine-turning. Unmarked, c.1790. Apx 12" wide, 8 1/2" tall.
