Popeye The Champ Tin Wind-Up Base by Marx Co.

This is a base only, with key. The base dimensions are 7 3/4" square diameter, by 5 3/8" tall to the top of the corner posts. The base is in excellent mechanical condition, the lithographs are complete, but are not bright. We have provided you with six different pictures to look at, so you be the judge on the condition. The key is old, but we are not sure it is original. Again, you be the judge. The Popeye and Bluto celluloid figures are not with the base. A very collectible Popeye tin wind up base by Louis Marx Co., 1929. Maybe you have a Popeye and Bluto at home looking for a place to fight!
