Uncle Sam's Registering Bank Display w/6 Original Banks!

This is a really quaint item we consider a double or triple collectible. Whether you enjoy children's toys, banks in general, or even general store collectibles. This is a complete store display by the Durable Toy & Novelty Corp., N.Y., N.Y.. Two of the banks are Uncle Sam's cash store registers, and measures 4 3/4" tall, 5" deep, and 4 5/8" wide. They are both in excellent working condition, have excellent paint, and ring when the keys are depressed. The other four banks are "3 coin register banks" (nickels, dimes & quarters), and measure 6 1/8" tall, 4 ½" wide, and 5 1/8" deep. Two are alike, one with excellent paint, one with some paint wear and surface rust spots on the lithographs. One of the "3 coin registering banks" is red, with paint wear and chipping. The red paint is especially worn in the center front from usage (see picture). The last bank has an American eagle plate where the coins register. It has fair paint with some chipping. The back of this bank looks as though someone seriously tried to break into it at one time (see picture). This is not seen when the bank is in the display rack. The display rack is 15 5/8" tall, 9 3/4" deep, and 16" wide. It is painted wood, orange and silver, with the "Uncle Sam's guaranteed play store registers and register banks" in black. The paint on the display rack and all six banks is original. No attempts have been made to touch up the paint or to clean them. The wood on the display rack is good with only a minor 1" x 1" split in a support that is not seen when the banks are in place (see picture). This is a very fun, unique and rare collectible, and should be an A$$ET to your collection!
