Edison Home Cylinder Phonograph w/Blue Morning Glory Horn

This is an exceptional Edison Home Phonograph from our personal collection! This beautiful cylinder phonograph with oak case is in perfect working condition. The serial number on the base plate is #276969, with the last patent date being May 22^nd, 1906. It has the original model H four minute reproducer, and has an all original oak dovetail case with bail handle. The original crane (horn support) fits under the front edge of the case to hold up the blue morning glory horn. The original Edison label is on top of the horn just in front of the ring to attach the horn to the crane (see picture). The blue morning glory horn is in very good condition including the paint. It has only a few minor dings and dents. The motor has been reconditioned, oiled, has new belts and runs great! (please hear the :55 second sound byte of the song "Joy To The World" at the bottom of this page...but please be patient, the file is QUITE LARGE (588 KB) and it could take a few minutes to download!) The dimensions of the phonograph with the lid on are 16 3/8" long, 9" wide, and 11 3/4" tall. The dimensions of the horn are 32" long and 21 3/4" in diameter. There are approximately 50 four minute wax cylinders for the phonograph, six have complete boxes with the lids, ten with boxes only, no lids. All of the cylinders have been wiped off with a soft cloth. Most seem to play well (not CD quality, however!). There is a lever that will switch the gears from four minute to two minute. We only have the four minute reproducer, but we have information to obtain a two minute one if you wish after purchase. These Edison cylinder phonographs are getting difficult to find, especially in complete working condition, such as this one. It certainly deserves a place of honor (with a lot of space!) in your home!
