Cranberry Hobnail Hanging Lamp Sorry, This Item Is SOLD!!!Victorian Cranberry Hobnail Hanging Parlor Lamp As you can see from the photos, this is a very ornate and decorative parlor lamp. The brass frame has an acorn pattern font, and the shade ring and crown match. The winder is complete and functions well with the help of the brass counterweight. The counterweight has a few minor old dents on the sides that can not be removed (see picture). We consider them "patina". The finial at the base of the counterweight that holds the smoke bell has been replaced. The 14" cranberry hobnail shade is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks or flea bites. It has been electrified with a kit, and can be converted back to kerosene in a matter of minutes with the original burner that comes with it. The feature we like the most is the unusual shape and size of the prisms. There are six triangular large prisms, each 6" long, and thirty matching 3" prisms. These are symmetrically spaced around the shade ring to reflect the most light patterns possible. The cranberry shade throws a wonderful pattern on the ceiling at night (see pictures). Dimensions of the frame are 18 3/4" wide, and 37 ½" long. This very beautiful hanging parlor lamp would be a perfect accent piece for your Victorian home! Please be patient for seven larger pictures to download! $2,695.00
