Victorian Silverplate Pickle Castor w/Amber Cut To Clear Insert

A very beautiful pickle castor, with an extremely nice amber cut to clear insert. This Victorian pickle castor has a bird and floral motif around the base, with a floral finial. The dimensions of the frame are 10" to the top of the handle, and 4 5/8" in diameter at the base. It has a pickle fork that hangs on one side, which also has a floral motif. The insert is amber cut to clean, with a flower pattern, cross cuts and thumbprint design at the top & bottom. The insert is 4" tall, and 3 ½ " in diameter. It is nearly perfect, with only one tiny flea bite on the rim that is very hard to see. The frame is only marked "USA - 3 ½" on the underside of the base (see picture). This lovely pickle caster is ready to use on your table, or if you are very decorative minded, it could be used for any of number of things!
