Victorian Pigeon Blood Hanging Parlor Lamp

This wonderful fire-red hobnail parlor lamp is unquestionably a stand out piece! The pigeon blood 14" hobnail shade is perfect, no chips or cracks. The brass frame is ornately designed, with winged griffins on each arm, a brass font and twisted brass pieces engraved with tiny flowers instead of the usual chains. It has been professionally cleaned & clear coated. The chain winder is present and complete. 30 crystal prisms surround the shade. The lamp has been electrified, but can be returned to kerosene easily with the original burner that comes with it. The lamp is made by "White Flame Light Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan", and is marked on the burner (see picture). The lamp is 39 ½" long, and the frame is 18" wide. This wonderful and rare lamp is a must for an art glass connoisseur such as yourself!
