1939 "Union Pacific" Movie World Premiere Program & Cast Signed Tag w/Gold Spike from Omaha, Nebraska

Now this is a fun collectable! This world premiere souvenir program is in excellent original condition for its age. It has 32 pages filled with photos, parade schedules, events, and advertisements congratulating and giving best wishes for the premiere in Omaha, Nebraska, April 26^th through April 29, 1939. The event was termed the "Golden Spike Celebration" that surrounded the premiere, and judging from the civic leaders involved and events, it was truly entertaining! The program is signed by the original owners, "Wally & Gertrude Wallace, 1939" on the inside cover. The program has slight foxing on two edges, and the two center pages are loose from the staples, but overall shows little wear and no fold marks. The 6" gold painted spike that accompanies the program has an original red tag enclosed in a plastic sleeve for protection, and is signed by the cast; Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea, Robert Preston, and Akim Tamiroff. There is a small crease across the center of the tag, and a crease in the lower left corner, but really in great shape overall (please see pictures). The program is 7 3/4" wide, and 10 5/8" long, and the tag is 2 3/8" wide, and 4 3/4" long. This would be a wonderful addition to the collector of a railroad or movie buff!
