Hopalong Cassidy Flashlight & Siren
(Item: 2139)
Sorry, This Item Is SOLD!!!Hopalong Cassidy "Siren Lite" Flashlight
This "Siren Lite" flashlight by Ashe Flash is from the early 1950's, and must have been a
treasured toy to some little boy, considering its fun feature! When you place your lips over the
end where it says "Ashe Flash" and blow, it produces a loud whizzing siren noise.....really neat! Click HERE to hear a :02 second sound byte of the Hopalong Cassidy Siren!
However,... I bet a few moms didn't care much for it after awhile! The main body of the
flashlight is a golden yellow, and the screw off top is a ruby red color. It is all metal, with a
colored picture of Hoppy and Topper side by side, and a few cactuses here and there. The paint
is in excellent condition, showing little wear. There is one light scratch below Hoppy and Topper,
and one tiny dent beside the "g" in Hopalong. The glass is intact and the interior shows no rust
or corrosion. The siren still functions just great! There is also a code key
(which still works) for signaling your friends. There is no light bulb. It is marked "Hong Kong
British Empire on the siren end, and has the Wm. Boyd trademark just below Hoppy and
Topper in the green band. The dimensions of this super flashlight are; 6 3/4" long, 1 7/8"
diameter top, and 1 ½" diameter barrel. We can't think of a more fun piece to add to your
Hopalong Cassidy collection!
Please be patient for ten larger pictures to download! $350.00
