1925 Ford Model TT One-Ton Stake Truck Sorry, This Item Is SOLD!!!1925 Ford Model TT One-Ton Stake Truck Here is a very nice "Big Boy Toy" that would be great for parades, hay rack rides, or just for showing off! We purchased this Model TT stake truck for advertising purposes, and for our antique business to use in parades. It was found on a farm near the Mississippi-Alabama area in original working condition. It is not a show truck, but "near original condition", which means no major restorations. The only thing we have done is put an all new complete wiring and ignition harness in, new spark plug wiring kit, cast iron timer, 4 new spark plugs, rebuilt original antique Holley carburetor, new switch assembly, 4 new plastic coils, plus we have the 4 original antique wood coils and kits to rebuilt them, an outside dipstick, plus it comes with a new Model T service bulletin book, carburetor repair book, instruction manual, electrical system book, and a transmission book. Most of the work we have done is cosmetic to the engine, $800.00 in new parts and manuals. We have not rebuilt the engine or transmission, but were planning on it at one time. It comes with an antique original Model T tire jack. The tires are old and will hold air, but need to be replaced. We have only one new tire for it. The radiator needs to be cleaned out and checked. The body is in excellent condition, no rust. There is a 2" x 4 1/2" section of green paint missing (no dent) on the drivers side door from an old advertising applied sign, and shows only the primer paint (underneath our magnetic signs). It was painted red at one time, but it is presently dark green, including the oak stakes on the bed of the truck. Our original plan was to strip the oak wood stakes and oak wood wheels (which are painted black), and make them antique oak tone. The interior of the cab is in great condition. The new replaced black vinyl seat is in good condition, except for a 1/4" tear made by someone with a wrench in his pocket, most likely, and that could be repaired. This truck comes with the 2-Speed Ruckstell differential, and the heavy duty Warford six-speed transmission. It does leak a little oil between the engine & transmission, and some by the differential. The passenger window does have a crack and needs to be replaced. The height is 84 3/4" inches tall to the center of the cab, the length is 184 1/2" inches (15 feet, 4 1/2 inches) long, and it is 65 1/4" inches wide. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any other information or extra pictures. If purchased, we would be happy to store it for a few months until it's picked up. In 1925 the first Ford factory-assembled Model T pickup debuted with a price tag of $281.00. Here is your chance to own and drive a piece of history from the Henry Ford factory. Please be patient for nine pictures to download!
