Akinobu Celluloid Straight Razor with Box

This is an interesting straight razor we recently acquired from an estate. The celluloid portion of the razor is in perfect condition, no cracks or chips or discoloration of the celluloid. At the end is an inlaid symbol in nickel or silver, probably the Akinobu symbol in Japanese, since we don't know Japanese! The red case is in excellent condition, with only slight rubbing to the corners. The blade of the razor is in very slightly used condition, with a tiny bit of edge rust and one rust spot near the end of the blade. It is marked "all Sweden" on one side of the blade, and the number "800" with the Akinobu symbol on the other. Dimensions of the razor are: 6 3/8" long closed, 9 ½" long open. The box is 6 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide, and 5/8" deep. A fun and unique addition to your straight razor collection!
