Victorian Cranberry Parlor Lamp w/Unusual Matching Shade

This unique lamp was a spectacular find for us. We think it is quite beautiful. . . definitely a more feminine style and color. It was originally kerosene and has been converted to electricity. The top and bottom light independently or at the same time, so it can be used as a nightlight also. The fount and shade are both hand enameled with fleur de lis' in gold. The base is dark metal in a hexagon shape. There are 38 cranberry prisms which are spaced around the shade ring. The shade has a few rim flakes around the base where it sits in the shade ring. One flake is ½" in diameter (see photo), but it is hard to see and is not seen when in the shade ring. The lamp is 24 ½" tall, the shade itself is 13 3/8" tall, and the base 8" in diameter. The prisms are 2 1/4" long. This fabulous lamp has probably been a conversation piece for many years, and it deserves just the right spot in your home to really shine!

Embossed on the wick adjuster is "Made In U.S. of America."

It was originally kerosene and has been converted to electricity. The on/off switch and the cord hole have both been added to the dark metal hexagonal base.

The top and bottom light independently or at the same time, so it can be used as a nightlight also.

The lamp is 24 1/2" tall, the shade itslef is 13 3/8" tall, and the base is 8" in diameter. The prisms are 2 1/4" long.
