Rare Steiff FAO Schwartz Pony with Squeeker

The fifth and very special Steiff animals we are proud to offer is this "cute as a button" pony that was made exclusively for FAO Schwarz, New York, circa 1967-68. It has a squeaker in its tummy that still works. It is mohair with felt ears and long mohair mane and tail. It has a red leather bridle and original chest tag. It stands 6" tall at the head. This pony is part of a collection of seven Steiff animals we have recently acquired. They were childhood toys, well taken care of. The owner received them as gifts from a visiting German Uncle. If you've been looking for a unique addition to your Steiff collection, this is it!
