1870's German 17" Pink Lustre China Head Doll 1870's German 17" Tall Pale Pink Lustre China Head Doll This sweet lady is a harder to find one, with a pale pink lustre shoulder head, black flat top hairdo with sausage curls all around, blue eyes with red lines, red nostril dots, and a very calm expression. She is 17" tall. She is also from the Frances B. Sims estate of Salida, Colorado, and we are proud to be able to offer her for sale at our store. Her body is new. Her china hands and feet are old but are probably not original to her. She has a tiny flat chip on her left thumb, tiny rubs on her high heel boot tips, a tiny nose rub, two rubs on the back of her head, but otherwise she is in perfect condition. She is wearing a most attractive dress and bonnet. The dress and undergarments are well made and may have been made the last forty years. The dress is dark pink satin with an overlay of older black lace. The bodice has tiny jet buttons down the front. Someone spent a lot of time on her exquisite bonnet. It is perfect for her and is made of black braid intertwined with dark pink satin ribbon; it has a fall in the back of leaves and acorns. She is carrying an old (not new) doll fan in fair condition with a tape repair. She is waiting patiently for a new person to appreciate her . . . maybe you?! Please be patient for six larger pictures to download!
