Vibroplex Speed Key & Morse Code Key
(Item: 4011J)

Vibroplex Speed Key with Morse Code Key

Here's a chance to acquire two vintage railroad telegraph items for one price! The Vibroplex speed key has a heavy black metal base with 3 rubber feet. The applied manufacturers tag is brass and the last patent number listed is "1260008," showing it to have been manufactured in 1918. The original finger pad has been replaced by someone with a plexiglass one (the original would have been black leather, which was very fragile and would crack with age). The cord is the original cloth covered one and is pretty frayed and worn but still there. Dimensions of the speed key are: 6" long by 3" wide base, and overall height is 3 ½". The speed key comes with a Morse Code key on a black celluloid base with a wooden handle. It is in excellent condition and was made in England. It is 4 3/8" long by 2 7/8" wide. A well used set with lots of use left in them!

Please be patient for eight larger pictures to download!
