1925 Pompeian Beauty Panel Yard Long Print "Beauty Gained is Love Retained"

This is the second Pompeian Beauty Panel recently acquired from the Threet collection of Owenton, Kentucky. The 1925 yard long framed print is titled "Beauty gained is Love Retained" and features a handsome couple, the girl holding roses and an engagement ring. The color in this panel is lovely, no fading. There is one professionally repaired tear 1" from the bottom and a small repair near the hanging hole. These are so well done they can't be seen except with a magnifying glass. This yard long print is featured in Keagy & Rhoden's No. 1 yard long book for collectors on page 34. The framing was done professionally, no matting, in a slender gold frame embossed with tiny flowers - very elegant. The framed yard long print dimensions are: 8 5/8" wide and 28 ½" tall. This attractive yard long print would make a great display piece almost anywhere!
