Victorian Mahogany Man Size Rocking Chair with Applied Gesso Carving

This beautiful rocking chair has been a recent "pet project." It is in fabulous condition, refinished and room-ready. It is solid mahogany with rolled back and arms. The three large slats across the back have gesso fleur de li's on the top and bottom of each. The seat has been professionally re-upholstered in an off-white brocade with clusters of flowers, accentuating the red-brown tone of the mahogany. Dimensions of the rocking chair are: 24 1/2" wide, 39" tall, and 19 1/2" deep on the seating area. There are no repairs. This wonderful Victorian rocking chair is comfortable as can be, and it's still suitable for a man or a woman!
