Vict. Cranberry Cased Pitcher and 2 Tumblers Victorian Cranberry Cased Pitcher and Two Tumblers with Enameled Flowers This is an elegant hand blown water set in very fine condition. The cylindrical pitcher is larger at the base, slightly tapering at the top. It is cranberry inside and white outside with an applied cranberry handle. There are no chips, flakes or flea bites on the rim, but there are three or four tiny mold specks, probably factory made. The pontil is ground and polished with a slight glass fold from molding. The enameling is very delicate featuring graceful flowering branches of pink and blue flowers, very well done. The two matching tumblers are a little thinner glass than the pitcher, so the cranberry shows through the white glass a little more. The upper rim of one tumbler has two pin point flea bites; these can hardly be felt or seen. The other tumbler has an interior surface bubble from the factory. Dimensions of this beautiful set are: pitcher - 10" tall and 5 ½" in diameter at the base; tumblers - 3 5/8" tall and 2 3/4" in diameter. One tumbler is slightly heavier than the other due to the fact that they are hand-blown. This lovely Victorian water set would make a very special addition to your cranberry glass collection!
