1890's Set of Four Double Pressed Back Chairs with Upholstered Seats

These great chairs are not reproductions, they just look very good for their age! They have recently been professionally refinished and re-glued and are room-ready. There are six turned spindles on each chair back, double turned stretchers on each front leg set, and a pressed drape and fleur de li pattern on each chair back. There is one professional repair to the back leg on one chair. The seats have a 1/4" wood base covered with upholsterer's foam fibre sheets and a very attractive brocade floral pattern in muted beige, soft blue, cream, rose & green. The dimensions of the chairs are: 40 ½" tall to the top of the rabbit ears, 19 3/4" deep, and 18 1/4" wide. This beautiful set of four chairs exactly match item #3822, 1890's 48" round oak clawfoot table for sale separately.
