1929 Arcade Cast Iron Ford Wrecker
This little cast iron Ford Wrecker by Arcade of Freeport, Illinois probably hauled a lot of tiny cars around in it's day. It is red with a green crane, and the wheels are nickel plated. The handle for the crane is missing (see picture). The paint is in good condition, on a scale of one to ten, we would rate it an eight. The "Arcade, #210L, and Freeport, Ill." are embossed inside (see pictures). The dimensions are 8 1/2" long without crane, 3 1/8" wide, and the truck with the crane is 5 3/4" tall. The door decal is still intact and says "An Arcade Toy"....and a fine one it is!!!
