Oak S-Roll-Top Desk w/ Paneled Sides

This desk is a classic in any part of the country as roll-top desks continue to be very popular and useful. This is an S-roll-top desk with all paneled sides. It is solid golden oak and was manufactured by the Victor Safe and Lock Company, Cincinnati, Ohio. The manufacturers label is above the locking mechanism on the roll top. There are ten pigeon holes and two drawers inside, three drawers with wooden handles down the left side, and a locking door on the right side. There are two pullout work areas, one on each side of the knee hole, and one wide drawer in the center. There are two keys for the two locks. The S-roll tambours are in excellent condition. It has been professionally refinished and is room-ready. The desk comes with a folder full of receipts and business documents from the 1920’s, which were found down behind the roll top. Dimensions of the desk are: 44” wide, 29 ½” deep, and 42 7/8” tall. We feel this is a nice “middle” size desk for a home or office, big enough to handle even modern mountains of paperwork and a computer!
