Mission Oak Drop Front Desk
(Item: 68DW02J)

Sorry, This Item Is SOLD!!!

Mission Oak Drop Front Desk

A recent acquisition we are happy to offer for sale. This very attractive quarter sawn oak drop front desk is all original, and the dark oak finish is in excellent condition. The desk has one lower drawer with mission style applied carving around each wooden drawer knob, and there is a lower bookshelf underneath with mission style supports. The interior of the desk is in great shape, with hanging pigeon holes and two small drawers with wooden knobs. The locks and hardware are original and the key is present. The brass key hole has a tiny repair underneath in the wood that is not noticeable, but must be mentioned. Dimensions of the desk are: 33 ½” wide, 16” deep, and 42 ½” tall. There is an old paper label on the back listing who the cabinetmaker was, who sandpapered it, rubbed it, filled and finished it. The initials are in pencil and are hard to read. This secretary would be a nice size to use in the corner of a room for bookwork and is large enough to use a laptop computer on. Very useful!

Please be patient for nine larger pictures to download!
