Late 1800's 4 Draw Brass Telescope/Spyglass

This brass four draw spyglass is in excellent original condition. The barrel is leather covered, with a few water marks and scuff marks. The optics are in perfect condition, with no cracks or chips. The lense cover is present and works well. There is a small block "D" on the smallest section near the eye hole. This spyglass may be the work of either Dolland or Dallmeyer, both makers of quality telescopes and spyglasses from London. The spyglass is 36" long fully drawn, and the objective lens is 2 1/4" in diameter. There is one 1" edge dent on the barrel which does not interfere with drawing the spyglass. It is not immediately noticeable, but it must be mentioned. This beautiful spyglass would make a great addition to a scientific instrument or naval instrument collection!
