Sorry, This Item Is SOLD!!!

1920's Chippendale Revival Tilt-Top Piecrust Table

A classic furniture piece based on the original Chippendale tea table. This piece was manufactured in the 1920's and is in excellent condition. The finish is original except for the center of the table top, which has been professionally refinished. There is no manufacturer's label. The table has a brass catch lock on one side of the turned pedestal to lock it in place, which is original to the table. The tea table is solid mahogany with a "piecrust" scrolled edge, and there are three arched ball-and-claw feet, which are very graceful, topped by carving. Dimensions of the tea table are: 28 5/8" in diameter x 29 1/4" tall, and when tilted, the table is 43 1/4" tall. A lovely occasional table for a living room, or if you prefer, for serving your tea!
