Kestner Model #154 Bisque Doll Head w/ Brown Sleep Eyes
One of two German porcelain doll heads from the estate of Frances B. Sims of Salida, Colorado. This doll head was purchased by Frances at Theriault's Doll Auction in Annapolis, Maryland. It is model #154, marked on the back of the head "9, 154. Dep.," and on the back shoulder plate, "Made in Germany." The head is in near mint condition with finely painted eyebrows and lashes and an open mouth with four upper teeth. Dimensions of the doll head are: 5 3/4" tall x 4 1/8" wide at shoulder plate. A perfect head for the antique doll maker or doll repair person!
