Victorian Hanging Parlor Lamp w/Hand Painted Shade Sorry, This item Is SOLD!!!Victorian Hanging Parlor-Library Lamp w/Hand Painted Pastel Design Shade This is a very quaint and decorative hanging parlor-library lamp, all ready for a new home. The brass frame is in excellent condition, and has been professionally cleaned & clear coated. The 14" diameter milk glass shade is hand painted in pastel tones, yellow graduating to pink, decorated with blue daisies and leaves, and is in perfect condition, no chips or cracks. The shade is numbered "228". The clear pressed glass fount is in a scroll and dot pattern, and is original to the lamp. The brass counterweight controls the adjustment of the length of the lamp and has the original smoke bell attached to it. The counterweight weighs about 10 pounds by itself. The brass fill cap is original also. It has been electrified with a kit, but has the original burner which is marked "Banner" (see picture), and can be returned to kerosene in a few minutes. There are 40 glass prisms. The length of the lamp is; 32 ½" long, but it can be made longer. An excellent Victorian lamp for a very simple and uncluttered country style home!
