Circa 1900 Flow Blue Wheeling LaBelle "Lovely Ladies" Portrait Plate

A very beautiful piece of flow blue semi-porcelain. This 10" diameter portrait plate was produced by Wheeling Pottery circa 1900. The plate is in the LaBelle pattern with hand painted highlights and gold trim. The central portrait is a Grecian Lady with an elaborate coiffure holding a yellow flower. The plate is back marked "The Wheeling Potter Semi-Porcelain, Bonita." The plate is in excellent original condition, with very little wear to the gold trim and very light and tiny glaze crazing in the white background of the center of the plate, consistent with age. There are 8 or 9 white enameled dot flower petals around the edge which have chipped off. These are not noticeable but must be mentioned for accuracy. This is a lovely plate, ready to grace your collection!
