Denver & Rio Grande Railroad Cast Down Panel Small Brass Slaymaker Lock
A very nice and harder to find item from the Denver & Rio Grande. It has good natural patina with some small casting imperfections on the left side of the lock and down the cast D&RG center panel. It is not frozen, but we do not have the key. It is cast with the Slaymaker logo on the back of the lock, with tiny letters "JS" and "79" on the shackle. The clevis is present, but there is no chain. This smaller special purpose lock is 3 3/8" long and 2 3/16" wide. It is ready to take a place in your Colorado railroad collection!
