1920's Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad Corporate Seal

This is an early and unusual Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad item, and one that is not found in many collections. This cast metal corporate seal is black with gold trim. The manufacturer label on the front was removed some time ago. It is fairly heavy at 5 lbs. The seal reads "The Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad Company, Incorporated Delaware 1920." Dimensions of the seal are: 9 9/16" tall with handle, 5 7/8" long and 2 1/8" wide. For those of you heavily into railroad collecting, especially the Denver & Rio Grande items, this is a piece that deserves a special place in your display!
